Answer this question please! (ecology major)?

Can someone give me a list of high school/college classes that I should take if I want to become an ecologist?

if you fail to take an economics and business law class, you will be an econut and not a true ecologist. An ecologist weights cost to benefit ratios.

Just take every science course that you can fit into your schedule. There are so many specialties in ecology, that you can’t study them all. Personally, I avoided chemistry as much as possible and concentrated on zoology and biostatistics. My primary client majored in geography. Your real education won’t start until you graduate, anyway.

You’ll need to be an environmental science or Biology major.

You’ll need these, if they’re available.

    Zoology,
    Microbiology
    Ecology
    Botany/plant science
    Organic Chem
    mammology
    biochemistry
    parasitology
field studies (experience-based learning in the wild, anyhow)
    Limnology and or Marine Biology

    take internships, too.

Check online at the course requirements of any college ecology program… that’ll give you an idea, too.
