Hi,
Seasonal changes are part of climate.
What marks the change of seasons where you live? In the Midwest
and New England, there are four distinct seasons.Mild spring and
autumn months come between hotter summers and colder winters.
In Florida and other southern states, the seasonal changes are much
less extreme. are periods of the year associated with specific
weather conditions, such as cold temperatures or frequent rain. These
periods are part of the overall pattern that makes up a climate. And also for example Ocean currents can affect climates. For example in Natashquan, Canada the Average Temperature is 1ºC and the
Latitude: is 50.2° N, but in London, England the Average Temperature is11ºC and the Latitude is nearly the same as natashquan, Canada, 51.5° N. This happens because Natashquan, Canada is near a cold-water current called labrador, while London, England is near a warm- water current called N.Atlantic.

I hope this helps!!

Should climate been seasonally cooler this decade since there was no sunspots in the sun?

Question: Should climate been seasonally cooler this decade since there was no sunspots in the sun?
If there was no sun spots (Maunders Minimum) our climate should of been cooler but since we have had on record a seasonally warmer weather over all. Could this have been the result of Global Warming? If so this means the weather might have been even hotter if it had not been for Maunders Minimum. I’m starting to believe less on global cooling and believe it might have been the result of the Pacific Ocean conveyor belt breaking up by ice. Thanks!

Super computers for weather forecasting can’t come up with consistent answers on climate change. Just the factors here on Earth are trouble enough. But to consider solar radiation levels, this has been difficult in the past.

what climate effects would be expected if the sinking of ocean waters did not occur?

Question: what climate effects would be expected if the sinking of ocean waters did not occur?
what climate effects would be expected if the sinking of ocean waters did not occur?
Please provide an answer with 7+ sentences. I have to make a short essay out of this and the book I’m using is very vague.

Answer:

Answer by Potato
A rise in ocean water is relevant to a drought, in where ice caps are melting which raise the water level. Also, since there is a drought, rain water is not being evaporated and ends up flowing through streams and rivers until it flows into the oceans. Be careful: there is a difference between a hotspell and a drought. Therefore, a sinking ocean level could result in a wet spell. Heavy rainfall, and heat. Heat evaporates the water, and keeping water in the air, and out of the ocean, will lower the ocean levels.
