All aerosol sprays have switched to using various forms of butane and propane as propellants instead of the CFC’s they once used so they no longer harm the ozone layer. However, there’s some talk about whether the new propellants are contributing to the greenhouse effect so expect to see another change in propellants and refrigerants soon.
On a separate note "ozone" is the massive sunscreen for all of us. Wish we thought about that when we invented the CFCs which are still being used at significant quantities by most of us in our daily lives.
They don’t contain cfc’s so they aren’t as bad as they used to be, but they should be disposed of as hazardous waste. Any aerosol is under pressure and contains a propellant which is usually flammable, so they shouldn’t be put in the garbage.

only if they contain cfc’s
NO !!! The ozone layer is about 4000 mi. up . The solar winds blow across us much faster. So explain how a molecule swims up stream to get there.
