Ecology Club – ideas?
Last week I was chosen president of my school’s ecology club, and just today, the club’s guiding teacher told me to bring him a plan of new and fresh ideas that are good for the environment and would be fun to make with the club members. I made research and found some, but I will like to know more ideas, so that I can give him a lot to choose from.
Thankss !!

My one piece of advice is to do more than just focus on the environment. As much as I advocate environmental awareness, you must remember the definiton of ecology; it’s the relationship between organisms and their habitats. I think it would be very interesting to learn about animals and the different types of ecosystems in the world- it’s all quite fascinating. Maybe take a trip to to a zoo, nature center, park, or reserve where experts can talk to you guys.

Shortage of fresh water is a growing concern across the world. Places like Southern California have already experienced a significant drop in the fresh water levels. Perhaps through your club you can spread awareness on water conservation. We all know how important fresh water is for our survival. You can promote tips on water conservation and tell people why it is necessary to conserve water. I think it will be one of the most relevant topics to spread awareness on. Here is some info on water conservation, which you can refer to: http://www.bewaterwise.com/index.html
