Author: I need to calculate the bio magnification for a food web that shows me only the bioamplification of PCB at each step. Their are 5 species. It starts with the phytoplankton which has 0.025ppm of PCB, then the zooplankton with 0.123ppm, then the smelt with 1.04 ppm, then the eggs of the herring gull with 124ppm.
I need to show my work and calculations so if anybody could please explain to me how I can calculate the biomagnification of the PCB at each level using the data givien while showing my work.

Level 2 0.123 / 0.025ppm = 4.92 times greater than level 1
Level 3 1.04 / 0.123ppm = 8.46 times greater than level 2
Level 4 124 / 1.04ppm = 119.2 times greater than level 3
Level 4 is 4960 times greater than level 1
124 / 0.025 = 4960
