How does noise pollution affect the environment?

Author: Me and my brother are doing a powerpoint about noise pollution for science. We are in 11th grade. We are having trouble finding information. So could u maybe give us a few links if u know any? or any information that u know?
The only thing we’ve found is the causes like street traffic, construction, and a bunch of other things. We also found that it effects where people and animals live because of the noise but thats just about it.

I’d say you answered it with your last sentance. If a tree fall’s in the wood’s with nobody there to hear it, did it really make any noise.
I don’t believe there is any correlation between noise and pollution, however; stress is a physical and emotional response. I think noise can causes stress and stress can change the environment.
the term environment does not always mean nature. it means physical environment, as in the environment that surrounds you. so you should be asking how it affects people, because noise pollution is a product of a type of environment.
