What is the nano techology that uses mechincal energy to split water into hydrogen and oxygen?

What is the nano techology that uses mechincal energy to split water into hydrogen and oxygen? I was wondering about this since the nano is using its own energy and doesnt this make infinite hydrogen because the water is split without using the energy from the joining of hydrogen and oxygen. Couldnt they use this in cars producing a eco-friendly "infinite" engine without a need to replace hydrogen for a long long time if even needed?

Do we have the technology yet to break down water into usable energy with the hydrogen?

I have seen videos of cars running off of hydrogen all over the place and I once went to an event which had cars running off of hydrogen but is there any company out there taking water, separating it to oxygen and hydrogen and burning the hydrogen? And since its so easy, why can we just take ocean water with desalination, turn it in fresh water, convert it to oxygen and hydrogen and use the hydrogen since hydrogen emits zero pollution and the BTU’s is far greater than gasoline and Diesel?

Car care that is no harmful to the environment?

Many products used to keep our cars running smoothly and looking nice contain toxins that threaten the environment (more specifically, our water supplies) when not disposed of properly. What are some vehicle maintenance tips that are also eco-friendly?

How do our lifestyles have to change to safely support 10 billion humans on one planet?

Economic environmentalism – the idea that the economy SHOULD grow to the point of maximum benefit, and stabilize there. Beyond that point, economic growth is as dangerous as cancer. Think of a reef’s ecology. They survive unchanging for centuries with no ill effects. Can’t we do the same?
Aw, come on, people, it’s not THAT hard! Just start naming useful steps, like replacing petroleum powered cars with _______!

Is starting an internal combustion engine considered littering?

It got me thinking after seeing a sign that read "littering – 0.00 fine". Arn’t we all littering everytime we start up our cars, lawnmowers, etc…?

Can pollution from cars get into a building?

I live in an apartment next to a high-traffic road, and it’s really hot so I often open the window for fresh air. But is it possible that the pollution from the cars’ exhaustion pipes get into my apartment? Thank you

Why are factories allowed to dump waste into rivers and smog in air but people get ticket for littering or?

or if they don’t pass a smog test for their car? but factories which pollute more than all cars combined get the green light, especially oil refineries that refine oil by excreting A LOT of toxic fumes into the air.

What is worse for the earth car pollution or electricity?

What burns more fossil fuels car pollution or running the usual amount of electricity in your home? What if everyone took one day out of every month to not use transportation? How would you feel about that I think it would really help? It might hurt business but the environment is way more important. And why do you think it is that cars are becoming bigger and bigger and even though the technology is available to cut down on emission even more no one is using it. What if the government set a law in place that no cars could be manufactured after January 2008 that do not exceed a mpg limit? And what if laws were put in effect to limit the amount of traveling one could do depending on that rate and what they do for a living.

I know those laws would expend certain freedoms but it would be for the better good. Don’t you think I am right? Or am I delusional in my way to help the environment?
