What is more harmful for the environment, disposable or cloth diapers?
I know it is often stated that disposable diapers are terrible for the environment as they take ages to break down, but what about the chemicals used and energy costs of cleaning cloth diapers? Which one is more or less polluting? Disposables that end up buried in landfills or cloth ones that create more carbon pollution in the air?
What plants are especially susceptible to pollution?
I’m performing an experiment in which used tire chemicals will be included in the subject plants water, and was wondering what plants would easily die from pollution.
Also, should I demonstrate this by planting a seed and watering it with only the poluted water, or use the water on an adult plant and look for an adverse reaction?

I already got rid of my plastic bottle drinking habits because of BPA and the environment, but the hormones/chemicals lurking in the water system get me paranoid. Help?

What damaging chemicals are we bringing into our society that cannot be disposed of and whose creation requires greenhouse emissions and chemical exposures that are on a much higher scale than we ever had before?
What is the difference between ecology and environmental science?
