Question: Is the climate change debate a vast left wing conspiracy involving the US, China?
Russia, England, France, Germany, Australia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Austria, Mongolia, Switzerland and Maldives?

According to many here it must be. But how does the entire world become a partner to such a “conspiracy” while only Inhoff and Sarah Palin know the truth?

Has Obama had the climate scientists drugged or brainwashed?

Q&A: How do I deal with the air pollution in China?

Question: How do I deal with the air pollution in China?
This summer I will travel to China, which has serious air pollution problems. The last time I went, I was overwhelmed with fumes of cigarette smoke, car exhaust, and dust. What’s the best way to protect my respiratory tract, besides staying indoors?

I know of nose filters, but do those really work? Any suggestion is welcome.

Remember, China, like any other place in the world, has more polluted areas like Linfen and Tianying and less polluted areas such as Guilin. So, you won’t find many air pollution lists ranked according to country (though they may exist). Most air pollution resources list according to city.

I recently found this information -after a long search- when preparing for teaching a lesson on development. But, even though I meant to do it, I did not bookmark my find. The World Bank keeps records of levels of air particulate matter, but I cannot for the life of me find the pages that I printed for my students.

If you need a statistic to site, you can certainly point out that something like 15 of the top 20 most polluted cities in the world are in China. (The exact statistic is easy to find because it’s been splashed everywhere on the Internet.)

Here are some sites that I did find:

What are some historical causes of air pollution in china?

Question: What are some historical causes of air pollution in china?
I need some historical events that would contribute to the mass amount of air pollution in China today.
For example the boost of population in the 16th century causes the government to focus on the economy rather than enviromental degradation.

What are the costs of pollution to China? Why are they willing to halt production so dramatically to reduce pollution?

Why are factories Not being forced to severely limit pollution if Global Warming isn't a Hoax?

What is the UN doing about it?

There are many countries like China, Mexico, India, etc. who are dumping so many pollutants into our air and water and making people and animals sick. Is this intentionally ignored to support the healthcare industry and cheap labor?

Who is behind the spread of the all of a sudden Global Warming when all this pollution is not being stopped or at least drastically slowed down by using proper stack scrubbers and filters?

What about public transportation? You can see them coming from a mile away by the pollution in the air.

How about jet pollution? This is old news.

Countries and pollution – which are the worst when it comes to manufacturing?

I’ve heard that China is really bad when it comes to pollution, so I’m thinking that buying things that were made in China isn’t such a good idea. Are there any other countries that pollute a lot, and any countries that are very good about keeping the earth clean that I should keep in mind when I go shopping? I couldn’t find anything pointing me in the right direction online. Thank you.
