How bad is duct tape for the environment?

I use a lot of duck tape to decorate my clothes and stuff, how bad is it for the environment? how long does it take to disintegrate in a landfill?

Tell me everything you know.

Which is worse for the environment, putting wet garbage down the disposal or sending it to the landfill?

I put my wet garbage into plastic bags and send to the landfill. Composting is not an option.
I have assumed that sending it through the disposal and ultimately into the river would be worse for the environment. Am I right?

What do you think of my idea to help the environment?

Don’t you think it would help the environment if we sent all our garbage and waste into outerspace? We could make a galactic landfill right there at the international space station. What do you think?

How do you balance conservation of water usage (during a drought) with requirements to rinse recycleables?

Which do you feel is more important? Conserving water during a drought and foregoing recycling items that must be washed or rinsed out prior to recycling, or, using scarce water resources to prevent potential recyclables from taking space in a landfill?

Which is most important?

Even if global warming is fake we should still be recyling? What do you think?

And to those who say recycling can be more expensive, I say if the prices go up enough as they will inevitably do, then recycling will actualy become much cheaper when compared to starting from stratch.
My point is, nobody can deny the Earths resources will run out even if global warming is proved wrong.

Obviously one can argue we should not have to cut Carbon levels but think for a minute? Fossil fuels are generally rising in price because they are getting harder to find. Also the prices of some metals where getting rather high before the financial crises and I think the are beginning to pick up again. I’ve heard stories of buglers going to great lengths and taking the copper from the wires of the High Speed Rail and the lead from old church roofs. Plus if the price of petrol goes up enough people will attempt yo steal it from your car.

Plus many (if not all) plastics are made form oil and if we run out of oil then we cannot make new plastic. And I’m sure many of you know how much fun Lego bricks and such are for children, besides the fact that we can’t live without it because think how many things use plastics. The very keyboard I used to type this question or the speakers connected to my computer. Also think about the effects plastic has on the environment. We can cleary see how it damages ecosystems. Plastic isn’t technically bio degradable in most cases since it can take hundreds of years apparently simply because Mother Nature can’t cope with it. If we recycled it then it would save us from making more. If we put it in a landfill it goes to waste and we could make much better use of it by recycling.

It’s all very logical really. Even a society that doesn’t cut Carbon should be reusing and thus recycling. The benefits are undeniable.
Instead of constantly clamouring about Carbon I think the new buzz word should be recylce. If we can sell that properly Carbon emissions will be reduced anyway.
