I know it is often stated that disposable diapers are terrible for the environment as they take ages to break down, but what about the chemicals used and energy costs of cleaning cloth diapers? Which one is more or less polluting? Disposables that end up buried in landfills or cloth ones that create more carbon pollution in the air?

I know it sounds wierd, but my family is against the whol "go green" thing.I used to be like "people think that the world is gonna end if you dont recycle everything" but now im realizing that this is a problem with all the landfills and everything.im only 12, so please give me ideas on how i can be kind to the planet without my fam being mad.

With a lot of landfills filling up and a lot having to be shipped to another county or state.Whats your views.
