HELP!! Ecology hw… I need all the help i can get A.S.A.P…10 points!!!?
Okay, I am 13 years old and I was not able to attend school due to a strept thraot, so my mom picked up my homework and I have this worksheet to complete, I dont have notes so I need help! The question is:
Identify the abiotic factor that is….
A) a liquid and makes up a mjor part of all cells
I put water?correct or not
b) the orginal source of energy for all ecosystems
I put the Sun is that right?
c) a gas NEEDED for Photosynthesis
I put Carbon Dioxide is that right?
d) provides minerals for plant growth and a habitat for some organisms
I DONT KNOW THT Q
e) needed by aerobic organisms in all ecosystems
Oxygen is that right??
Thanks for all answers!!!
What is the nano techology that uses mechincal energy to split water into hydrogen and oxygen?
What is the nano techology that uses mechincal energy to split water into hydrogen and oxygen? I was wondering about this since the nano is using its own energy and doesnt this make infinite hydrogen because the water is split without using the energy from the joining of hydrogen and oxygen. Couldnt they use this in cars producing a eco-friendly "infinite" engine without a need to replace hydrogen for a long long time if even needed?
Do we have the technology yet to break down water into usable energy with the hydrogen?
I have seen videos of cars running off of hydrogen all over the place and I once went to an event which had cars running off of hydrogen but is there any company out there taking water, separating it to oxygen and hydrogen and burning the hydrogen? And since its so easy, why can we just take ocean water with desalination, turn it in fresh water, convert it to oxygen and hydrogen and use the hydrogen since hydrogen emits zero pollution and the BTU’s is far greater than gasoline and Diesel?

How did the cycling of solar energy through the biosphere begin?
Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are the same chemical reactions headed in opposite directions. Photosynthesis takes carbon dioxide and water and produces carbohydrates and oxygen. Cellular respiration takes carbohydrates and oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water. Respiration is the exothermic reaction. Photosynthesis requires the input of energy from the sun in order to proceed. In the economy of ecology, why are both reactions necessary? How did the cycling of solar energy through the biosphere begin? How can it be best maintained today?
–Please help me understand this alittle better.
How Can hydrogen and oxygen be separated from water, so hydrogen can be used as a fuel?
It seems hydrogen is logical for use as a fuel on a water based planet, is why i ask ! And after hydrogen is used, can the residual recombine with oxygen to make water again?
What are the positive effects of having more oxygen in the environment?
I’m writing a research paper on Energy Efficiency. If consumers recycle, then less trees are cut down. Which ultimately means there is more oxygen produced. I want to know the positive effects of having more oxygen in the environment.
Please site sources.
littering?
Do you really think lettering is fine?
Do you think nothing will happen when you litter?
Do you wonder why we have globle warming?
Well if your answer to the first question’Do you think lettering is fine?" Was yes.. guess what you’re wrong there is nothing to the meaning of fine when in comes to littering.
If your answer to the second question ‘Do you think nothing will happen when you litter?’ was "No nothing would happen." You’re are wrong. Littering kills animals, and plants, which is all the life around us. When you litter the garbage on the ground can kill tree’s and plants, we need tree’s and plants for our oxygen to survive. No oxygen = Death… Do you wan’t top die?? I don’t think so…
‘Do you wonder why we have globle warming?’ If you are wondering one of the number 1 resons is littering, and cutting down tree’s. Because you litter our summers are overly hot, and are winters are colder than ever… So if you could be so kind, RECYCLE and through out your garbage IN A GARBAGE CAN. Its not that hard to hold on to you garbage. Thx
