What do the proponents of global warming consider normal climate change?
Question: What do the proponents of global warming consider normal climate change?
The climate has gone up and down for billions of years.
It’s been much hotter and much colder.
The temperature has gone up and down slower and faster.
There has been much more and much less CO2 in the atmosphere.
Other planets in the solar system are changing at the same rate as earth.
Why is it any different now?
Is it because humans exsist?
It seems that the so called environ”MENTAL” crowd would be behind global warming if it’s going to be as bad as they say. All of the catastrophy that they claim will happen will only result in a reduction of population, a key component in there argument to stop global warming.
And if the debate is over, do the proponents of global warming understand they have lost?
The CO2 has increased and decreased at slowere and faster rates as well.
Um ……… Galileo was an astronamer, so he probly knew about solar flairs also.

They are concerned with change- very scary to most people! And at the heart of the global warming scare is the human fear that it could herald the end of era (ours) since most global – scale climate changes are bracketed by mass extinctions. In fact, the last global warming was the Mesozoic Era- that’s right, when the dinosaurs ruled the Earth! It is noted for its very large animals, mega – scale plants, warm, shallow seas and lack of ice anywhere on the planet. What was so bad about it? Nothing, except if the climate had not collapsed, humans would never have evolved.
Q&A: How do proponents of man-made global warming acount for climate changes occuring on other planets and moons?

Mars in particular because it lacks the atmospheric conditions that you guys attribute to climate changes.

climate change IS a natural phenomenon but (badly) accelerated by human activity.

The climate has changed for billions of years.
It’s been much hotter and much colder.

The CO2 has increased and decreased at slower and faster rates as well before humans exsisted.
Also other planets in the solar system are changing at the same rate as earth.
Why is it any different now?
How can this be attributed to humans when this has all happend even before Humans were here?
It seems that the so called environ”MENTAL” crowd should be behind global warming, if it’s going to be as bad as they say. All of the catastrophy that they claim will happen
will only result in a reduction of population, a key component in there argument to stop global warming.
And if the debate is over, do the proponents of global warming/Climate change, understand they have lost?
So the whats normal change?
The Younger Dryas even changed by 10 to 18 degrees in approximately 10 years and then changed back.
But mankind couldn’t have had any effect at the time.
And patrick is right, scientists know nothing about Climate change so how can it be said the debate is over?

The debate is over, those who deny that we are causing global warming have lost but they don’t seem to understand (there are still people (like Patrick here) who do not understand why the debate is effectively over and who therefore assume that since they lack the capability of understanding that everyone else does).
Natural climate changes are slower than what we are currently going through, that is the difference and it is a very big difference (because it means that whereas in previous changes life was able to adapt we may not have time for life to adapt to the change).
