Does anyone know if there is much money to be made recycling cans,bottles,newspapers,etc?If so how much? I’ve been working at a Gas Station part time for a few years now and when I first started I saw this person(he looked like a homeless person) on a scooter pulling his small carts of cans,bottles,etc,he usually bought .00 in gas for his little scooter.
A couple years back this person was driving a small old used toyota pickup truck that was full of his usually recycables and still pulling his little carts,he was buying more gas as well.
Last night I saw this person pull up driving a great big moving truck with a automatic lift on the back of it,he was
still pulling his little carts full of cans,bottles,etc.The truck did not look like a rental,the back of it was full of stuff as well.When he buys his gas he’s in a rush and I don’t get a chance to ask him questions.
Can anyone else confirm or deny how much money you can make recyling cans,bottles,etc.?

Does it make a difference (do you get paid more or less) for recycling cans that have been crushed or crushed that have not been crushed? If it doesn’t make a difference, I will go ahead and crush them all since I could fit more into a single bag.

We live in an Apt. Complex and we already recycle stuff in diffrent bins
but I decided I want to start recycling cans and stuff and try to make a few bucks. What can I recycle? I live in the Bay Areeyya one of the most polluted places in the universe.

Anyways, I’m I’m a pothead who cares about the environment and want to do my part since the smoking wont stop lol.
