What are the most eco-friendly methods of heating water in a house?
Our water heater is looking very sad and yesterday our neighbors burst. I took it as a sign.
My husband wants to get a tankless water heating system.
I’m wondering which methods are most eco-friendly, energy saving, etc.
I don’t think we can afford solar panels.
I should have mentioned that I live in South Florida so if I can harness the sun’s energy in a way I can afford (upfront) then I’m in the perfect location to do it.
How can I get green power for my home?
I cannot afford solar panels, I am looking to switch to a green power company. Is it true that if I ask for green power my power company has to offer it?
I live in maine and my power company is CMP.
Should I start a company that deals with natural energy and the disposal of hazardous waste to the environment?
Natural energy such as selling and installing solar panels, selling eco friendly materials, and setting and picking up recycling bins. For waste collecting collect things such as batteries or anything else bad for the environment. ALSO, I live on a U.S. territory in the Pacific Ocean the is about 30 miles long.
How come new houses aren't built with solar panels?
With the ecology craze in full swing (electric cars, hydrogen fuel cells, recycling) You would think they would start building homes with solar panels, but you do you see any such thing going on? No…..
How is growing plants on a roof considered "green"?
At my local university, they just finished constructing the campus’ first "green" building. It has all the common items with solar panels for heating, rainwater collection bin, etc. However, the building features plants growing on the roof. How is this considered "green"? How do I get my school to go green?
This summer my friend and I really got into the whole going green thing. We have recycled even more, planted a tree, hugged trees (lol), and started doing those small things around the house. I love helping out with the environment and since school is starting I want my school to go green. How can I make this idea expand and work? I have thought of putting recycling bins outside and have small bins in classes. Also maybe turining off lights to conserve energy. Is it expensive to get solar panels for the school. My middle school did it, but i honestly do not know how. If you have any ideas to help me out that would be great.
What are some inexpensive ways to go green?
Going green seems expensive. Right now a hybrid car or installing solar panels is out of my budget. What are some inexpensive ideas, besides recycling, to help save the environment?
What does electricity do to the environment?
I am doing a project on how much really electricity impacts the environment. I’m only asking questions that basically I can’t find. I figured another person with another veiw on this would point me in the direction of finding a source for my research.
What are various things that you know electricity does to the environment? How much does it affect the environment? How much does turbines and solar panels have to with the damage? Do they cause the majority of the damage?
I’m mainly looking for a source regarding how much damage(to the environment)solar panels and turbines make by producing electricity.
List your sources to the exact place you found the information.
