I want to go green, but I am told by friends who have tried that it is A LOT to remember, and it is not as easy as I think… I just think it’s called being responsible, but my question is where do I start? How do I start? Are there things that effect the enviroment that I may not know?

I’m trying to find a visual image of something concerning the environment whether good or bad that is interesting. I have to give a rhetorical speech about it and I’m not sure what to do. It feels like such a broad topic, please please could you give me some ideas? Thanks in advance

I like to use the metal bottles with the twisty tops because it uses less plastic and is better for the environment. It also holds more water and keeps me hydrated for longer times that way.

I use them just for water and the one I am currently using has been refilled a few times.
Is it bad to keep refilling them?
Does bacteria build-up?
Or is it safe to just keep reusing it?

Iv asked this question before, but Iv only received alternative-energy resources. What Im looking for is the actual term used to to describe the possible perfect synchronization/harmony of technology/civilization and the environment. I know Iv heard it before, but I just can’t seem to find it. Thanks in advance.

I am not all that into the global warming issue like many others but I am however concerned about the future of our planet. I would like to know some sites that would really help me know where to start with recyling and stopping some of the pollution I may cause. i want to start a recyling company, i live in a third world country and i have no clue where to start, i want it to be just like what they do in america(sorting the trash into glass, cans etc) and i need knowlege on the first steps to starting it. thanks in advance.

I live in Connecticut. I know you can make money with scrap metal and soda cans. What about papers? Other plastics besides soda bottles? I know I can recycle them but can I make some money by doing it? Say I bring in 500 pounds of paper will I get anything for it? What about 300 pounds of #1 & #2 plastic? Thanks in advance for any information.
