What are you doing to prevent climat change and save the environment?
What I’m doing:
-Using a rain barrel to collect rain from storms so I don’t wave to use any water from the hose when I water plants
-Walking or biking to many places to save energy
-Using resuable shopping bags for groceries
-Using those special flush toilets that save lost of water
-Recycling
-Using the blackle search engine instead of google to save energy
What are you doing to prevent climat change and to save the environment?
I am all for saving and recycling but I also understand the we can not control the weather. Brave soldiers need to try and do some reading at the following web site:

Global Warming Hoax
Refuting the Myth of Man-made Global Warming
Arguments based on science, news, and common sense. This site is non-partisan and non-religious based. In fact we fight the new faith based religion of global warming.
II’m glad you’re doing those things… am doing many myself, but because I CHOOSE to do so…
Let some EnviroNazi drop by and start issuing warning notices and see how fast that CHOICE changes…
I burn all my trash in the back yard so the trash truck doesn’t have to pick it up and also saves on precious landfill space.
Currently I am helping set up a recycling program in China for plastics to be remanufactured into paint cans and auto parts. The products will then be sold and used through big box stores that US manufactures are building in China. It will start China on thinking about reusing products for other recycling programs.
I am also currently setting up testing programs in China, Russia and Brazil on complying with environmental laws on composite panels, a forest product using third party certifiers. I am also working on placing a larger number of producers overseas on the FSC program and help set up and debate current laws relating the the Lacey Act and Aphis. I work with rainforest companies to be better stewards of the land they harvest in terms of forest products meaning better harvesting techniques on stands of hardwood forests. I have helped Firestone Natural Rubber Company build a plant in Liberia to use tapped out rubber trees into merchantable lumber to be exported back to the US instead of slashing and burning the resource. Rubber trees quit producing latex after 20 years and must be rotated. Before, the resource was just burned, not anymore.
I helped change the laws in California paving the way for more solar panels to be used by private individuals and which gave those who installed systems the right to sell excess power back into the grid instead of not selling the excess power. Spent years lobbying the state government. Submitted a plan to outfit flat top roofs in California, ie business and factories, with solar panels as would be the cheapest and cost efficient method of solarizing the state. It would not require battery backups as people use the power while they are at work and do not have to save for night time use. This plan would take much of the power useage off the grid and businesses could more easily afford outfitting their buildings than could private residences. It was the logical way to approach the business plan.
In the past i investigated hundreds of environmental issues in the North west from bird kills to human miscarriages blamed or suspected compounds to be the cause. I have conducted hundreds of necropsies on our national bird to grizzley bears suspected of dying from human made hazardous wastes, pesticides or any other compounds.
Currently, I am fighting laws and regulations that have no medical or environmental benefits, only economic disbenefits. I am pushing solar energy, not because of AGW, but because of the cost benefits for buildings of flattopped design here in California and across the country. I started imported solar panels over 5 years ago out of China and took many years to get the state to approve them through the California Energy Commission and see the economic benefit to the use of them.
I am a realist, an environmental realist with much experience and not some kid who just got out of college after being brainwashed by a teacher who never seen a good hard days work. I look at problems and resolve them and I do not blame man for the problem but rather man is the solution, and there is always a solution without hurting someone.
If you want to continue to listen to Gore, Pelosi, Waxman or Boxer on their idiotic ideals, go for it. I will spend my time getting the job done.
Here is my involvement on one issue

And for you corporate haters, you might want to check out what this company has done for just a small portion of the world’s population. Corporate bashing by liberals is getting out of hand when in fact they themselves do little.

Alarmists, what have you done?
Hahahahah. You people are too funny! IT is too late. You can try and do as much as you want but it is not going to help.
Letting nature take care of watering the grass.
My mother had an Aunt who as a young women moved to Alaska. She married and raised children, but after her own children moved out of the house she went out an adopted two Eskimos and two Aleut Indians. After those kids were grown she and her husband moved to Florida where they lived for the rest of their lives. One of the Eskimos moved to Florida with them, he told me he really liked Florida and wished his friends in Alaska could enjoy warm beach days like we do.
And now thanks to global warming, they soon will.
To that end I
- Drive my boat at excess speeds
- Use my SUV when I could use my Honda
- Keep my house air conditioned to sub glacial temperatures
- Leave my lights on.
- Watch movies on my big screen TV
That’s what I’m doing.
i’m actually adding to it lol
I am all for recycling, and not littering and such. But I am not doing anything for global warming because the slight warming we are experiencing, is naturally caused not caused by man
Absolutely nothing. I don’t allow fear mongers to rule my life. A good lesson for everyone.
Not wasting resources or energy.
But the climate is always going to change no matter what we do or how much Obama taxes us. There is no such thing as a stable climate, any more than CO2 is supposed to be a "greenhouse gas."
Yes, climate change, you know what? It’s going to change again in a few months– from summer to fall, then fall to winter. Happens all the time, why do we make such an issue about it? Why does Obama makes such an issue about it, he’s supposed to have this superhuman intellect, but he buys into the the hype and nonsense. So much for wisdom and leadership.
Kill all humans, stop farting and save the polar bears.
Check out http://www.350.org
It is an international organization that aims to unite the public, media, and our political leaders behind the ideal CO2 emission goal of 350 ppm by harnessing the power of the internet to coordinate a planetary day of action on October 24, 2009. That way, world leaders this December in Copenhagen will acknowledge this world-wide call for action and set the global emission standard at 350.

What I am doing now to save the environment…
Recycling is what i am usually doing, Reusing the water I used from laundering (I used it in washing my bike)
and a lot more…
