What harm do we do to the atmosphere and ecology when we build batteries and solar cells and flourescent bulbs

What damaging chemicals are we bringing into our society that cannot be disposed of and whose creation requires greenhouse emissions and chemical exposures that are on a much higher scale than we ever had before?

Please relax and calm down for a minute. Chill out.

I don’t know where you got this idea, but you are mistaken. You have been misinformed.

The manufacture of batteries, solar cells, and fluorescent bulbs is good for the environment, not bad for it. These products are designed to be part of energy systems that consume LESS poisonous fuels and produce LESS environmental poison than the systems we use now.

LESS greenhouse emissions and chemical exposures that we have now, NOT MORE. Okay? Do you understand that?

The worries you describe in your question are backward from reality. Solar technology REDUCES environmental damage. It does not increase it. Okay? So relax. Calm down.

Of course it is true that any manufacturing process consumes precious resources and may produce some toxins and other pollutants. But remember that the companies that make batteries, solar cells, and fluorescent light bulbs are required by law to minimize environmental damage.

    So it’s okay. Cool it.
