What is a good example of a coastal environment news story?

Author: I need to find out a news story on coastal environment and i can’t seem to find anything of much use on the web so help is very much appreciated.
Thanks for your answer but it didn’t have to be a good thing, it can be bad. Sorry for the confusion, i just need any news story on climate environment.

Would a story on beach erosion help? I live along the South Carolina coast and there are always stories about beach erosion and beach re-nourishment.
Today’s environment does not have any good effect . As there are pollutions in water also such as damping garbage in water,bathing of animals and washing clothes in the water bodies .
