There's always crap on the sidewalks whether it's cigarette butts, newspapers, or gum wrappers. The air and light pollution is so bad, there are no stars in the night sky. Dead fish wash up on shore, and there is algae overgrowth because of all the extra rotting waste. There is light pollution--I wanted to see a meteor shower but saw virtually nothing.
