Why does the world wrestling federation care so much about the environment?

Author: I keep seeing things in the news about how the wwf is doing this and that for the environment. I was wondering if it was maybe to attract a broader audience to wrestling by being more green? If anyone knows specifics please answer.

WWF= World Wide Fund for Nature
"World wrestling federation" changed their name to WWE years ago because of a name dispute. Unless I’m unaware that WWE is trying to do something for the environment, I’d bet this "WWF" that you’re hearing about on the news is the World Wide Fund for Nature.
